Factcheck.orgis a wonderful site run by the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania and researches the accuracy of statements made by politicians. Especially interesting are the false accusations made by both sides of the 2004 Presidential Election

Project Vote Smart is a great resource that allows individuals to see politicians stands on the issues, in their own words.

Historical Sites:

The Living Room Candidateallows users to view all major ads by Presidential Candidates from 1952 to the Present. Be sure to view the infamous "Daisy" ad in the 1964 campaign
